Hey everyone, Terry here. Welcome to Trading Cut Academy. Plan the trade. Own your process. Before we talk about charts, let's talk about the decisions you make before the pressure arrives.

Your process is a routine you can write down and check. What are you observing? What would make your idea wrong? What conditions would make you stay out? And how will you record what happened?

Let's separate the decision from the result. Imagine two fictional demo decisions. In the first, someone ignores their written confirmation rule, acts early and happens to make a profit. In the second, someone waits for the written confirmation, records the plan and follows it, but the example ends in a loss.

The first made money, but it did not follow the process. The second followed the process, but that does not prove the method is profitable. A good routine helps us collect honest evidence. It does not guarantee a good outcome.

In this course, practise on historical charts or in a demo environment. Focus on observation and discipline rather than a daily money target. Demo results are practice results, not proof of what you would earn with real money.

Now write three learning rules. Make them observable. Instead of saying, 'I will be disciplined,' say, 'I will record my reason before every demo decision.' Instead of saying, 'I will avoid bad trades,' say, 'I will stay out when a required checklist condition is missing.'

Your third rule could be, 'I will review each session before starting another.' Keep your rules next to your planner. Pause the lesson, complete your worksheet and check that someone else could tell whether you followed each rule.

Prepare. Execute. Review. That is the foundation we build on. Plan the trade. Own your process.
